Are you looking for information about skin care? If so, you have come to the right place. Your skin is the barrier between “You” and the world so naturally you want to know the latest and best tips for keeping it strong, healthy and young looking. We are here to help. I scour the Internet looking for the best and most current skin care information including news about skin care products, skin problems, makeup, and much more. If it has to do with your skin, we want you to know about it.

Daily Skin Care Regimen

A daily skin care regimen is a vital component to beautiful skin. There is no great secret to having good looking skin, but you will find it quite difficult to achieve unless you have a daily skin care regime. Once you get in the habit of caring for your skin daily, the results should be visible within 3 months. You may not wish to resort to an extreme solution such as plastic surgery to improve your skin condition. First try a daily care regimen which may be just as affective and is certainly much safer.

A daily skin care regimen is essential because of our skin being constantly exposed to free radicals and pollutants like smoke and dust. Additionally, the pores of our skin become clogged by make-up and dirt. A daily skin care regimen should always include a mild cleanser which should be applied with cotton pads. Move the pads in a circular motion until the entire facial area is cleansed. After rinsing with warm water use a towel to gently blot the excess water. Excessive rubbing may cause irritation and redness.

Since the market is oversaturated with every kind of skin care product you can imagine, you will need to be careful to only chose quality products for your daily regimen. Use the following recommendations as your guide.

A daily skin care regimen should include:

•	Cleanse
A good cleaning twice a day to remove all the gunk like make-up, pollutants and just plain dirt that ends up on your face. A deep cleansing facial foam is highly recommended to make sure that every speck of dirt will be removed, even from the deepest pores.

•	Exfoliate
Dead surface skin cells give your skin a dull look. Exfoliation will keep these dead cells to a minimum. It’s best to exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week. Want to exfoliate to the extreme? Try a microdermabrasion home kit which will completely remove the dead uppermost layer of your skin, thus revealing the beautiful and healthier skin just below.

•	Tone
A good toner is essential to refine pores and tone the skin. Toner should be used each day after cleansing. You should also use a toner after removing a mask. As an added benefit, your toner will help remove any stray makeup or dirt which may have been missed by the cleanser.

•	Moisturize
Moisturizers help keep your skin cells hydrated, making your skin appear softer and more youthful so be sure to moisturize after every cleansing, both in the morning and before bed at night. I’m sure you oily skinned people are thinking, “I don’t need a moisturizer!” The problem is you are dead wrong because everyone’s skin needs moisturizing. In fact, one of the reasons your skin is oily is because your skin is actually lacking moisture and it is trying to compensate. Use an oil-free moisturizer which is water based and that that will help control the oil. Another plus, foundation glides on smoother and is less streaky after you moisturize.

•	Protect
Your skin needs daily protection from the sun and environmental pollution. A good foundation with an SPF factor of at least 15 will help provide a barrier between your face and the world and help protect it from damage.

The road to a clean, clear, and smooth skin can be disheartening at times and might make you lose faith with the skin care products being sold in the market. It does take time to finally find the brand that’s best for your own skin. I did have my own share of hits and misses but luckily, through exhaustive research, I found the products that were the best for my skin. So have hope – there are definitely good products out there that will help give you a good start to your daily skin care regimen.

You might not realize it but as we get older our skin becomes wounded. In essence this is what a wrinkle is, a wound. You see when we’re younger our skin promotes fast healing of scrapes, cuts and our skin. It’s thanks to cells known as fibroplasts that our skin is able to rejuvenate itself quickly and avoid looking old beyond our age.

What exactly are Fibroplasts?

Well no doubt you’ve heard the term collagen before. It’s the “buzz” word of the anti aging industry for the past decade. Fibroplasts are partially responsible for our skins natural production of collage which just happens to be skins natural building block.

If our quantity of Firboplasts is reduced, then so is our collagen output.

The results, when wrinkles begin to form from damage caused by years of smiling, frowning, laughing, sun exposure and who knows what else in our environment our skin has a difficult time repairing itself. In fact it more or less cannot repair itself.

How do Wrinkle Creams Fix the problem

Well, that’s just it even the best anti wrinkle creams have a tough time fixing the issue with lack of collagen production and fibroplasts. Some products claim they deliver more collagen to your skin with high tech delivery systems, how ever this is usually collagen from fish or animals, not the same as we produce ourselves.

Other creams claim to hide wrinkles just minutes after application. There has been some proof that these so called “lift creams” can improve the appearance of wrinkles and lines temporarily but they must be applied daily or more often to keep the results.

To promote long term results from an anti aging cream you would need to find a product that stimulates the growth of new fibroplasts in order to boost natural collagen production. This would allow your skin to rejuvenate or “heal” itself.

There are a couple of such products on the market, but the jury is still out on whether they produce better results then botox® injections or other less evasive surgical procedures.

What Should you do to Look Younger?

For starters do some research on the different anti aging products and treatments that are available. Yes, it’s true that cosmetic surgery and similar procedures are expensive but they can produce results that lasts up to a decade or longer.

Creams, lotions and gels can be a viable option but I’d suggest being careful of products that must be applied daily. Instead look for a system, or all-in-one cream that will reduce wrinkles and lines on the face and eyes. If it happens to give you an instant lift while it’s at it then no harm done.

Many of us with muscle aches overlook the need for skin care products that will reduce or eliminate muscle pains in addition to caring for our skin. Sometimes our skin is telling us we are injured. Other times, our bodies tell us we are injured. Chiropractors will tell you that everything about you is all connected. When one part of you is injured or needs treatment, it will show on other areas of our body or skin, whether it is obvious or not.

Muscle pain is a symptom of many diseases and disorders. The most common causes are overuse or over-stretching of a muscle or group of muscles. Overuse or overstretching of muscles can come from doing simple household chores or a rigorous fitness regime. Other times, it is an indication that something is wrong with our bodies and we need medical attention.

Some diseases or disorders that are associated with muscle pain are the common cold, HIV, Lyme disease, Meningitis, Pneumonia, Rabies, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), Toxic shock syndrome, West Nile virus, and Bronchitis. Obviously, muscle pain could indicate a serious medical condition.

Other than visiting the doctor, one way we can tell where our muscles pains are coming from is to look at our skin. Sometimes our skin will give us hints on what is going on underneath of it. For instance, those with skin conditions like Rosacea or Eczema feel muscle soreness in the surrounding area. This could be from the inflammation, also a symptom of injury.

Once ruling out a serious medical condition, we can treat our muscle pains with some of the finest products available that will not only combat the pain, but also consider our skin and overall well-being.

Body brushing is good for everyone, including those with sensitive skin. Even babies can enjoy body brushing, with specially made fine brushes for their gentle skin.

Dry brushing will boost circulation; it pushes the body’s ability to eliminate toxins through the lympathac system. This elimination process helps break down fatty pockets, responsible for cellulite.

BUYING A DRY BRUSH

By a body brush that is firm. Be sure it is not scratchy or too uncomfortable. Choosing a dry brushing product is a personal choice. Some of the types of body brushing products available are loofahs, sisal mitts, long handled brushes, and hand held bristle brushes. Available dry brushing products Use a loofah, sisal mitt, or long handled brush. Choose one that you feel most comfortable using or holding.

HOW TO USE A BODY BRUSH

Make upward, sweeping movements, starting at your feet. Work up to your legs, thighs, buttocks, stomach. Go gentle on the thighs and stomach area. Brushing too hard on your thighs may break tiny blood vessels and create broken veins or capillaries.

Then move onto your breasts, shoulders, and arms. Remember to work towards the heart. Concentrate on your elbows, and use gentle strokes on your breasts. Choose a long handle body brush for your back. Your back is one of the most neglected areas on our body. Your back needs skin care products just like the rest of your body.

If you have sensitive skin, wet the mitt and use it in the bath or shower with a natural soap or soap free cleanser. The water reduces the friction of the body brush so it will minimize any damage.

WHEN TO BODY BRUSH

Consider body brushing on a daily basis. Those who dry brush regularly do not have a problem with cellulite. Although we know that every woman has cellulite, whether they can see it or not, those who dry brush do not have middle or higher levels or “grades” of cellulite. Those who only occasionally dry brush do not see the benefits of a reduction in cellulite or overall radiant skin tone. Fit dry brushing into your daily routine and you will see a big difference on your skin, and feel the increase energy and vitality in your body.

SKIN CARE PRODUCTS TO ENHANCE BODY BRUSHING

After dry brushing, take a bath or shower to rinse off the dead skin cells that are lying like dust on the top of your skin. Some of the “dust” on the skin is obvious of the dead skin cells brushed off, but some of the skin cells and other debris cannot be seen with the naked eye. Use a mild soap or an awakening body wash like peppermint or any other mint. It is invigorating and intoxicating.

After a shower, try a cellulite body cream or oil. This is when the cellulite product works best. Since the skin is already invigorated after the body brush, your skin is working in overdrive right now. The blood is circulating and your dead skin cells have been brushed off. Any skin care product applied after a dry brushing regime will increase the potential benefits of your skin care product.

For dry brushing on a baby’s skin, try a baby hairbrush used only for the baby’s body. This way you control the spread of germs. A baby’s hairbrush is made of fine bristles, gentle enough for them, and it works very well on their bodies. You may get a few giggles from your baby doing a dry brush so they will have even more benefits!

We can take control of cellulite with a few lifestyle changes. If you are devoted to making changes, you should see a dramatic transformation in your skin condition, especially cellulite prone areas, in as little as eight weeks. Here is a solid plan for fighting cellulite.

VITAMINS

Recent studies have proven that taking a daily multivitamin may be a waste of time and money when it comes to our health. The studies suggest that we can, and most often do, get the daily vitamin intake with the foods we eat. However, those with specific medical conditions or needs should take one. These studies have shown that it is unnecessary to take a multivitamin for our body’s health, but the studies do not mention the unnecessary notion for our skin’s health. Our skin needs daily vitamins, whether you take it orally or use it topically. Check for the ingredients in your skin care product and see if your skin is receiving those vital vitamins. Dr. Karen Burke, a New York dermatologist, recommends taking 1 to 6g vitamin C daily and 400 IU natural Vitamin E.

FOODS

Eat plenty of fresh foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, fish, olive oil, yogurt, eggs, and fresh herbs and spices. Avoid sugar and processed foods. Eliminate margarines, TV dinners, and canned foods from your diet

Celebrity singer Beyonce Knowles follows the Lemon Detox Diet to fight cellulite. We recommend the lemon detox recipe in the morning one hour before breakfast. To use this recipe, combine two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon, two tablespoons of natural maple syrup, and one-tenth of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Mix this with an eight-ounce glass of fresh spring water and you will be on your way to fighting cellulite naturally. Here in this diet, you will be getting vitamins and spices known to target cellulite and other skin conditions.

LIFESTYLE

Lifestyle changes are necessary to combat cellulite. If you are not on a regular fitness program, this may be a time to sign up and get involved in a fitness center or sports team. If you are on a regular fitness program, and you still have prominent cellulite, then you may need to change or alter your current program. For those who are just starting a physical fitness program, consult a personal trainer or a fitness staff for a personalized consultation. Most fitness centers offer a one-time personal assessment to get you on a customized plan. Tell them you are experiencing a problem with cellulite and want a program to combat this. They will be happy to help. Remember, both cardio and weight training are imperative to fight

Stress management is also important for fighting cellulite. Relaxing will distress and detoxify the body. Stress buildup contributes to fat. Cortisol is a stress hormone, known as a contributing factor in belly fat. Bring meditation into your daily life, and learn to diffuse negative feelings before it hurts your body and poisons your mind.

MANUAL MANIPULATION

Avoid surgery at all costs. Surgery, such as liposuction, may reduce fat, but it will not remove cellulite. It may reduce some cellulite in the liposuction area, but it will not rid of cellulite in that area and it will not rid of cellulite in other non-surgical areas. After surgery, your fat may disappear, but the cellulite may not. Skinny women have cellulite; it is not just a skin condition in overweight women. Genes play a role in cellulite, and even the most prestigious cosmetic procedures and vigorous lifestyle changes won’t completely get rid of cellulite.

Surgery is a temporary fix in removing fat, a fat-prone area.

Dry brushing works best on removing toxins from the fat cells, reducing the orange-peel look. This will also help cellulite products to penetrate the skin.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Lifestyle changes are going to be the most efficient method of reducing or eliminating cellulite. You will need to eat healthy, avoid toxin build-ups, and use skin care products to work on any problem areas that remain after making these changes.

Cures don’t happen overnight. We will not be able permanently cure cellulite. However, we can reduce cellulite dramatically with life style changes and skin care remedies.

Outdoor adventure can be exciting, but accidents do happen. Outdoor activities require a different skin care plan. Whether you’re going skiing, biking, or climbing Mount Everest, an outdoor adventure requires a little more than just wearing the right shoes. We need a safety adventure pack. To keep your adventure from being a misadventure, consider our outdoor safety and skin care products to include in your travel gear.

ALL IN ONE ADVENTURE SKIN CARE

Brave Soldier Weekend Warrior is an inclusive kit. Everything you need for an outdoor adventure comes with this kit; perfect for campers, hikers, scouts, and other adventurers. Brave Soldier Weekend Warrior comes with antiseptic ointment, several sizes and types of wound dressings, bandages, antiseptic pads, towelettes, pain relief tablets, treatment guide, and a carry all bag. It also includes lip balm with sun protection. This is a great kit to keep in your car for road-side emergencies. Tip: Carry an extra change of clothes and bottled water, and remember to keep this kit in your adventure pack. You don’t want to leave this weekend warrior in the car if you have an accident while hiking.

SKIN CARE FOR FUNGI

Ringworm is a concern for those who camp or hike regularly. Ringworm can be found on any part of the body, but for those who regularly enjoy the woods, mountains, and lakes, ringworm is a common problem. Anyone can get ringworm. Just like other skin conditions like athletes foot and the MRSA superbug, ringworm is contagious. Ringworm thrives best on skin that is moist, hot, and hidden from the light. This is the reason why ringworm shows up on campers and hikers who enjoy the woods or mountains. During the summer when it is warm, the woods maintain moisture, but not all areas of the woods are as sunny as the beach. The trees provide shade for most of those areas, so fungi like ringworm thrive there.

This is why we recommend Stiefel Zeasorb AF Lotion/Powder. It is a powerful medicated powder to get rid of ringworm and prevent it from spreading. In addition, this powder is good for those who have had ringworm in the past and are currently planning an outdoor adventure. The powder will prevent ringworm, giving you the security you need to enjoy your outdoor adventure. Tip: Do not share towels or other personal hygiene items. If you are going to the beach or lake, carry your wet items in a wet case or plastic bag until they are washed. Bring your own beach towel and hair comb.

ADVENTURE SUNSCREEN AND BUG SPRAY

Jack Black Sun Guard Spray Sunscreen, SPF 25. We like this sun guard spray because it contains natural citronella, lemongrass and spearmint. These are natural ingredients that bugs do not like. This special blend from Jack Black is odorless and absorbs into the skin immediately, unlike many other brands. We feel secure using Jack Black Sun Guard Spray with its high sun protection factor, and it works as a bug repellant. All of this in only one bottle. It’s a deal.

ORAL TREATMENTS FOR OUTDOOR CARE

Pedinol Fungoid Tincture is for the bravest and strongest of scouts. This is an oral treatment for the prevention of fungi and other bacteria that develop on the skin. The best part about this treatment is that it is not damaging to the liver like other oral anti-fungal treatments. We recommend Pendinol Fungoid Tincture for prevention and maintenance of clean healthy skin. It is one of best products available for those who are regular adventurist such as professional athletes, those who work outdoors, and those brave ole scouts discovering and helping the world we live in.

One small sack filled with these outdoor adventure needs will give you everything you need for outdoor skin protection. At DailySkinCare.net, we are committed to finding the boldest products available to keep your skin protected whether you are venturing, working, or vacationing outdoors.

A good wax will make your skin feel smooth, fresh, and clean. If you make careful choices in your waxing regime, you can achieve radiant, pain-free results.

Waxing is a personal choice. Some prefer to shave, while some prefer to wax. The downside to shaving is that once you shave, hair becomes thicker and grows faster. You will need to shave more often to remove hair. On the other hand, waxing will remove hair up to four weeks, saving you time and money in the long run. When waxing, the hair is pulled out from the hair’s root. Hair will grow back slower and finer.

We suggest waiting two weeks and letting the hair grow out a little before waxing. This way, is efficient because it creates a stronger, more precise pull or strip, so we can get the hair pulled directly from the root, rather than just the hair on the skin. Our recommended waxing kits can remove even the shortest hairs. Like shaving, waxing can cause ingrown hairs, so we need to exfoliate before waxing to prevent that from happening. Just in case there are skin flare-ups or trapped hair, we have a solution to that too.

EXFOLIATE BEFORE WAXING

We recommend exfoliating with a brush over any other exfoliating method. This is because some skin care products have added ingredients that can irritate shaved or waxed skin, falling into the hair follicle or shaft while shaving. This happens when the exfoliating scrub isn’t rinsed off completely, leaving behind beads or other pumice-like particles. These particles get caught in the razor and have the potential to damage the razor or your skin. We highly recommend exfoliating a day before your waxing treatment and exfoliating in between shaving sessions to ensure a comfortable and safe shave.

WAXING KITS

Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit is one of our favorites because this wax can be used anywhere on the body or face. Most wax removal skin care products target a specific area for waxing such as facial, bikini, or legs. With this kit, you can apply it anywhere, eliminating the need to buy multiple waxing kits. Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit also has the ability to grab even the shortest hairs. This eliminates the need to grow you hair out long before doing a waxing treatment, unlike other waxing kits. The kit contains everything you need such as waxing lotion, wax, and several spatulas that fit your needs. We like the precision in this wax formula because it is colorful and you can easily see where the wax is being applied.

Since Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit is an all around kit, never needing anything else for waxing, why bother getting another kit? We recommended the Bliss Poetic Brow Shaping Sugar Wax for traveling or quick uses at the gym or spa. This kit comes with the cloth waxing strips for precision on waxing the brows. It also comes with calming balm to quickly heal and calm the treated area. It’s great to pack in your suitcase, gym bag, or tote.

WAX RECOVERY

The Art Of Shaving Women’s Ingrown Hair Night Cream is a great skin care product for those who are prone to ingrown hairs. If ingrown hairs are not treated, it may cause infection, irritation, and bacteria growth. Ingrown hair can be plucked or manipulated out of the skin, but some areas are hard to treat. For instance, if you have had a Brazilian wax, then it may be hard to pluck or maneuver the ingrown hair. Some places are harder to reach or see to remove the hair by hand or tweeze. This is why we recommend The Art of Shaving Women’s Ingrown Hair Night Cream. It unclogs pores, and moisturizes the area, eliminating the discomfort from itching and irritating symptoms. Extracts containing salicilin, releases trapped hair, and the botanicals in this cream help repair the irritated skin as the hair is released.

At DailySkinCare.net, we are committed to finding the best products available to keep your legs smooth and hair-free. We only recommend the best, so they can be delivered right to your door.

How do we determine the difference between natural and organic cosmetics? Natural products are made from plants and minerals that occur in nature and have not been produced in a laboratory. Organic products are also made from natural ingredients; they are grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Seaweed, for example can be classified as a natural product, but it’s not organic because it is not grown in natural conditions.

Truly organic products do not contain any genetically modified ingredients or petrochemicals. They do not undergo any animal testing, unless it is required by law, and are only subjected to minimal processing. If a product is purely organic, as read on a cosmetic label, it will be certified by an organic certification agency. Some cosmetic companies add natural ingredients in the form of fruit acids, vitamins, hemp, and borage to skincare products. Some products use ingredients that mimic skin’s natural functions, like Hyaluronic acid, a moisturizer that occurs naturally in the skin.

Some experts hold the theory that your skin absorbs 60% of everything you put on it. Your skin is a highly effective delivery system, so it would seem to be a better choice to use organic beauty products to ensure the highest level of nourishment to the skin.

You can still have an allergic reaction to a natural product. There is no 100% guarantee that any skin care product or cosmetic will not produce an allergic reaction, regardless if it is labeled hypoallergenic. For instance, if you where a fragrance and a body cream and both of them label the product as hypoallergenic, it doesn’t mean that using both of these products used together won’t cause an allergic reaction. If you have sensitive skin or have a known allergy, look at the products label to determine if the ingredients list contains your known allergy.

However, chemicals made in the laboratory for skin care products have been safe and effective as well. We may insure that organic is the safest by nature, but man-made chemicals and product have not only been good for us, but they can actually save lives.

It is quite difficult to make a skin care product or cosmetic that is 100% natural. This is because in order for the product to last or preserve vital nutrients, preservatives are needed. Take the example of a skin care product that contains apple extracts. Imagine your skin care product on your vanity or in your cosmetic bag. How long do you think an apple will last until it goes rotten? Probably not too long, and that is why preservatives are needed in your skin care products. They would go bad otherwise.

Natural products are naturally good for us, but as you can see, natural isn’t always the best choice when it comes to putting something on your skin. If you have political, health, or social views that prevent you from buying anything other than organic, then you will be happy that organic products are taking the market by storm. There are many to choose from. For those that do not have a specific need for natural or organic skin care products, we have a host of cosmetic companies with that have spent many hours in the laboratory to insure our safety and satisfaction with them.

This time of year many of us are doing more than shopping for bathing suits. We are shopping for wrap-around attire or swimsuit cover-ups. Why worry about cover ups? We can bare skin to be proud of this summer with a little help from a bottle.

We have spent the winter indoors. Our skin may be flaky, dull, or lack tone. Cellulite is another big concern for many women summertime approaches. We can get out of the winter blues and feel confident being in our own skin, no matter what time of the year it is.

Many times, cellulite or body contour creams did not perform well for some women, only because the preparation and after care recommendations were not met. In order for these products to work effectively, it is important to understand how to use them and when to use them.

STEP ONE — PREPARATION

Before using any contour product for the body, you must exfoliate. This way, we are closer to the skin’s surface where the ingredients from the products can penetrate the skin. Dry body brushing is one the cheapest and most effective methods of stimulating circulation, which is essential for normal body function. If your circulation is impaired, insufficient oxygen and nutrients are delivered to the cell, toxins are not removed efficiently and lymph fluid is not drained correctly. All this encourages fat and toxin build-up. When body brushing, brush firmly towards the heart, but be careful if you have any problem open wounds or other skin abrasions.

STEP TWO — AFTERCARE

Slimming and body contour products need time to soak in and allow the ingredients to penetrate the skin. Apply them when you can block out a time period where you don’t put on clothes afterwards, so the clothing will not soak up the cream or lotion applied. Try a spa towel that wraps around your chest and hangs just above the upper thigh. The same rule applies to sitting or lying down after application. Depending on where you apply the cream, you can adjust your attire based on the area treated. For instance, if you are applying the slimming or body contour product to your thighs or buttocks, then lie down on your side or stomach or participate in standing activities. If you must wear clothing consider a fabric like lightweight gauze or silk so the product will not soak into the material. Try a loose fitting skirt or other clothing that will not rub or touch against the skin.

STEP THREE

Now that you have what you need to know about preparation and aftercare, you can jump in and indulge with our recommended body contour and slimming products. We have found the best slimming products especially made for problem areas.

Bliss Carrot And Sesame Body Buff. This kit contains a carrot and sesame spa scrub and finishing foam. It smells yummy with honey and your skin will glow after the first application. The scrub will rid of dry bumps, blemishes, and rough spots. The finishing foam leaves a nice radiant shine, and the skin tone appears even and enhanced. The smell is pure bliss and the body looks fresher, cleaner, and healthier. This is a great prep for cellulite and body contour treatment, but you may find that this kit alone will do the trick.

Institut DERMed Body CelluliteRx LipoTherm Contour Cream is one of our best recommendations. It really did work at smoothing out rouge spots and dimpled areas. It detoxifies the excess water stored in fat cells that contain toxins, thereby reducing inflammation. This contour cream also regulates hormones, another element responsible for cellulite, and it contains natural stimulant remedies for these problem areas. The results are firm, toned, and healthy looking skin.

Alchimie Forever Q-switch Optimizing Body Contour Gel is perfect at slimming and contouring problem areas. We like the natural ingredients of ginger and marine algae. Marine alga is a form of penetrating collagen, an important component for rebuilding our skin. A special ingredient of Amazonian guarana stimulates and energizes the skin. We loved the results of this contour slimming cream. The legs, thighs, and buttocks are smooth and tight after just one use.

Vitamin P isn’t a vitamin per se, but it is classified as a vitamin to speak for a variety of bioflavonoids. Bioflavonoids are not produced by our bodies, so we need a supplement or skin care product to deliver this special component. Vitamin P enhances the action of Vitamin C. As we know, Vitamin C is plays an important role in strengthening our immune system and it helps the skin repair and renew. This is one of many reasons that we need bioflavonoids in our diet or skin care products.

Bioflavonoids have a variety of benefits for our bodies and skin. Studies show that bioflavonoids stop or slow the growth of malignant cells. Vitamin P also acts as a natural antibiotic for our bodies, ridding of infection and fighting off illness and viruses. The bacteria fighting properties in bioflavonoids destroy bacteria found in our foods, so it protects us against food spoilage and food poisoning.

Vitamin P is also good for the treatment of injuries because they act as a pain reliever. Those with pain in the legs, back, and neck will find that bioflavonoids in their diet or topical treatments to work wonders in combating agonizing, persistent pain. In addition, Vitamin P relieves prolonged bleeding, prevents bruising, and heals injuries faster. It is also good for relieving pain for those with oral herpes.

It is best to take Vitamin P with Vitamin C because it enhances the absorption of Vitamin C. Some of the most potent skin care products available with Vitamin C include Vitamin P in the ingredients. When looking for oral vitamins, check for bioflavonoids on the ingredient list. If you are using a skin care product with Vitamin C, check to see if Vitamin P is included with the ingredients.

One way to tell if you have a deficiency in Vitamin P is your frequency or intensity of bruising. If you are experiencing frequent bruising or bruise easily, you may need more Vitamin P in your diet. An increase in allergies or allergic reactions is another sign that you may need bioflavonoids in your diet or skin care product.

There is no set standard on the daily intake of Vitamin P, but 500mg is recommended. Check your regular daily vitamin supplement ingredient list to see if you are receiving the maximum benefits of Vitamin P and C. Look for the bioflavonoids listed on the vitamin label. Too many bioflavonoids may pose a risk; it only takes a small amount to enhance the vitamins and minerals in your diet or skin care product.

If you are not getting the vitamins and bioflavonoid recommended in your daily vitamin, consider eating peppers, onions, garlic, green tea, red and blue berries, grapes, broccoli, apricots, parsley, red wine, and buckwheat. Another way to get Vitamin P, sits in the white material beneath citrus peel. This is the perfect way to get your Vitamin P and C together. Easily, tangerines are the easiest citrus fruit to get the white material of the peel. With oranges or lemons, the fruit is easier to pull off the peel than the white material. With tangerines, the white material comes off effortlessly.

Skin needs Vitamin C. Skin Care products that contain Vitamin C and Vitamin P are your best shot at repairing bruises, broken capillaries, varicose veins, and sun damaged skin. If you are using a skin care product with both vitamins in the ingredients, you should expect to see faster results and less recovery time.
