You might not realize it but as we get older our skin becomes wounded. In essence this is what a wrinkle is, a wound. You see when we’re younger our skin promotes fast healing of scrapes, cuts and our skin. It’s thanks to cells known as fibroplasts that our skin is able to rejuvenate itself quickly and avoid looking old beyond our age.

What exactly are Fibroplasts?

Well no doubt you’ve heard the term collagen before. It’s the “buzz” word of the anti aging industry for the past decade. Fibroplasts are partially responsible for our skins natural production of collage which just happens to be skins natural building block.

If our quantity of Firboplasts is reduced, then so is our collagen output.

The results, when wrinkles begin to form from damage caused by years of smiling, frowning, laughing, sun exposure and who knows what else in our environment our skin has a difficult time repairing itself. In fact it more or less cannot repair itself.

How do Wrinkle Creams Fix the problem

Well, that’s just it even the best anti wrinkle creams have a tough time fixing the issue with lack of collagen production and fibroplasts. Some products claim they deliver more collagen to your skin with high tech delivery systems, how ever this is usually collagen from fish or animals, not the same as we produce ourselves.

Other creams claim to hide wrinkles just minutes after application. There has been some proof that these so called “lift creams” can improve the appearance of wrinkles and lines temporarily but they must be applied daily or more often to keep the results.

To promote long term results from an anti aging cream you would need to find a product that stimulates the growth of new fibroplasts in order to boost natural collagen production. This would allow your skin to rejuvenate or “heal” itself.

There are a couple of such products on the market, but the jury is still out on whether they produce better results then botox® injections or other less evasive surgical procedures.

What Should you do to Look Younger?

For starters do some research on the different anti aging products and treatments that are available. Yes, it’s true that cosmetic surgery and similar procedures are expensive but they can produce results that lasts up to a decade or longer.

Creams, lotions and gels can be a viable option but I’d suggest being careful of products that must be applied daily. Instead look for a system, or all-in-one cream that will reduce wrinkles and lines on the face and eyes. If it happens to give you an instant lift while it’s at it then no harm done.

We can calm sunburn. We can also calm the fears associated with too much sun exposure. One of the most ironic consequences for sunburn is that it may actually be good for you. Surprising isn’t it? We do not recommended getting too much sun, as we know that too much sun exposure can cause skin cancer. However, sunburns do have some benefits. Let us look.

For one, sunburn protects further damage of the sun. The melanoma builds a resistance to further damage. In addition, a research team from the Northern California Cancer Center, the University of Southern California, and Wake Forest University School of Medicine has found that increased exposure to sunlight – which increases levels of vitamin D in the body — may decrease the risk of advanced breast cancer.

Esther John, PhD, lead researcher on the study from the Northern California Cancer Center says, “We believe that sunlight helps to reduce women’s risk of breast cancer because the body manufactures the active form of vitamin D from exposure to sunlight.”

Dermatologists only look at the skin. Skin cancer has been a rampant topic in the media, as dermatologists urge us to protect our skin from sun exposure, to avoid the possible risk of skin cancer. While this may be true, sun exposure does help our health and overall wellbeing. In fact, sunshine is loaded with vitamin D, one of the same ingredients in many skin care products to help achieve healthy, radiant skin.

At DailySkinCare.net, we have tested a large host of skin care products available to treat sunburn. We are recommending these products with sensitivity in mind. When you are burning and in pain, you need treatment that will offer immediate relief. Here are some of our best choices, as we keep in mind your immediate needs.

Korres Yoghurt Cooling Gel is made with yogurt and Willowherb. Willowherb is an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. It heals wounds and reduces pain associated with all kinds of burns. The calming and soothing feeling from this gel is immediate. This skin care product would be excellent to add to a beach bag or a medicine cabinet. It’s great for those minor burns you may get from cooking or ironing too. In addition, it’s loaded with vitamins so it helps the repair process too.

Pevonia Phyto-Aromatic Mist is an easy to use skin care product to treat sunburns without having to rub your hands on the skin. Just spray aromatic mist and it will feed your skin the moisture and natural extras known to calm, heal, sooth, and repair the skin. One of the finest ingredients, other than Hyaluronic acid and other calming components, is the French Rose extracts. French Rose refines the skin texture, cleanses it, and helps the skin repair process.

Now that we have cooled and calmed the skin, we need long-term repair. Pevonia Power Repair Hydrating Cleanser is our number one choice for those with mature, sun-damaged skin types who are currently experiencing sunburn. This has marine collagen and marine elastin, which is the innovative way to get collagen into the skin so it can rebuild, repair, and renew the skin’s own elements. Pevonia also contains jonquil essential oil. It has both a relaxing and stimulating effect on the mind and body.

At DailySkinCare.net, we are committed to helping you find the best skin care products available to calm your burn and make you feel good while your skin is sizzling. We will help you relax and help bring out the beautiful effects that the sun can offer.

There are two causes of freckles: genetics and sun damage. Some have a hereditary tendency to freckle. Those who have a hereditary tendency to freckle will freckle easily after exposure to the sun. This is why it is important to use a sunscreen; because of the hereditary tendency, you already have, in addition to the sun damage that occurs naturally from the sun.

Freckles are beautiful. Modeling agencies look for models that have freckles. They have long been known to be a sign of beauty. However, some see freckles as a problem. In fact, some freckles could be signs of future skin cancer. Keep an eye on freckles to see if they grow or have unusual shapes to them. Meanwhile, we have solutions for those with natural freckles and those freckles from too much sun damage. First, we will discuss what freckles are and how we can remove them.

The sun and sun-tanning beds emit ultraviolet (UV) rays. After exposure to sunlight, the outer layer of the skin thickens and the pigment-producing cells in the skin produce the pigment melanin. Freckles are the clusters of concentrated melanin.

For those who have a hereditary component to obtain freckles, the cause is in the presence of the melanocortin-1 receptor MC1R gene.

People differ how their skin will react to sunlight. Many of those in their forties will recognize the damaging effects of too much sun exposure as freckles increase over the face and other parts of the body, particularly shoulders, chest, and back.

Freckles will also reappear if you alter or neglect freckle or sun damage treatment. People with freckles usually have a lower concentration of photo-protective melanin and are therefore more susceptible to the harmful effects of UV-radiation.

It’s easier to prevent freckles than it is to treat them. Today we will offer you skin care products that have proven to reduce or eliminate them. One powerful laser treatment used at home can rid of freckles faster than topical creams. Depending on the location of the freckles, the intensity, and how fast you want them removed will determine the course of treatment you should take. We at DailySkinCare.net will provide you the topical treatments and other home laser treatments to help you combat the unwanted freckles, sunspots, and other melanin related spots.

SKIN CARE TREATMENTS FOR FRECKLES AND SUN SPOTS

SAMPAR White Velvet Cleanser is a great choice for starting a skin care regime for those who want to remove freckles and other sun damage. This cleaner has unique properties such as Citrus bioflavonoid, and natural extracts that function similarly to hydroquinone. They diffuse the freckles rather than having to bleach them. This is a potent cleaner that is particularly effective with those who have facial freckles. Tip: Use the cleaner and let your face air dry. This way the cleanser’s properties are not patted off with a towel.

Peter Thomas Roth Potent Botanical Skin Brightening Gel Complex has bearberry and mulberry extracts, anti-oxidant vitamin C, and 2% hydroquinone lotion. The ingredients in this brightening gel complex will not only combat your freckles, but it is also excellent for other scars and skin imperfections. Bearberry and mulberry extracts act like a skin bleach in this gel. The results are amazing.

Donell Super Skin Super Sun Care is the perfect skin treatment to use after Peter Thomas Roth Botanical Skin Brightening Gel Complex. It works as a treatment and sunblock. The properties will help bleach the freckles while protecting you from the sun with a SPF of 20. It is excellent protection and treatment in one.

MaMa Lotion is a gel like lotion that contains malic acid. This is a powerful approach to ridding of freckles. Malic acid is derived from apples and has glycolic properties. Within weeks, you should notice a reduction in freckles and age spot. Tip: Because this is a potent treatment, use moisturizer after the MaMa lotion dries.

Ageless Beauty Marvel Mini Green is a laser home treatment to rid of freckles. This laser is the same approach a dermatologist would use. Use this laser as directed. Within two months, you should see a significant difference in even skin tone. This laser can be used on the chest and neck area as well. Why spends hundreds or thousands of dollars at the dermatologist when you can have the laser treatment at home?

CoverBlend Concealing Treatment Makeup-SPF 20 Bisque is a great way to cover up sun damage, freckles, and other spots. It also has a sun protection factor, protecting you from further damage from sun exposure. This is light, healthy, and protective makeup coverage.

At DailySkinCare.net, we seek out effective and safe products you can buy to rid of freckles, age spots, and sun damage.
